TIRED OF A WATERED DOWN WORD? SO AM I.

Hello all. As the title says, a WATERED DOWN WORD is why I felt the need to start a website. You see it in contemporary Christian Churches, sadly, more often than not. Ever wonder what the Word of God actually says? Like, literally actually says? Well I can tell you this much. This website is going to be a project delving into Scripture so we can get to the bottom of what The Word of God actually says.

I pull my verses from the King James Version of The Bible because someone I once met told me something along these lines: "Within the landscape of Bible translations it is almost like we are playing a game of telephone. We started with one original translation, and then someone sought to 'improve' upon it, which led to changed meanings...until we have arrived at the point where the original meaning and sentiment are completely lost."

So I'm choosing to start from where it all began, The King James Version.

It is my hope that through my writing I can illuminate parts of Scripture that escape ordinary understanding. Anyone can understand--and I mean truly understand--The Bible as long as that person has The Holy Ghost and leaves their preconceived notions of what The Bible "ought" to say at the door. It is probably incomprehensible gibberish to those, however, who do not have The Holy Ghost. To those who have The Holy Ghost but don't spend time in the Scriptures, some of what The Bible says may very well sound like gibberish to them, too.

In this website I would like to make things clearer not only for those who have the Spirit of God, but maybe teach those who do not have the Spirit something new.
